Scout services and refunds

Your free brief

You can update or close your brief at any time. No qualifying units means no file charge. We confirm a named researcher and available capacity before accepting a brief and starting the three-day initial research target. If no suitable unit is found, we explain what was checked and ask before widening your hard requirements.

What file access includes

The first purchase is two completed research files for $49. Five total files cost $99; ten total files cost $149. Upgrades charge the difference: $50 from two to five, $50 from five to ten, or $100 from two to ten. One extra file costs $25. There is no subscription, automatic renewal or expiry of unused file entitlements.

You choose the files before paying. Each contains the current asking price, shareable documents and seller answers, fit reasoning, sources and dates, known concerns, financial relationships and unanswered questions. These are research files, not physical inspections. Public listings and advertised prices remain free.

Delivery and file refunds

We charge only when the selected complete, available, permission-cleared files can be delivered at once. Your payment confirmation grants private access in My WeRV. You can open and download the purchased version there.

An unopened file entitlement can be refunded. If a unit is withdrawn before you open its file, we restore that entitlement or refund its allocated paid value. If access fails or a file lacks material promised information, we correct it promptly or refund the affected entitlement. Deciding not to buy an RV after receiving complete research does not itself trigger a refund.

Each initial file is allocated $24.50. The three-file upgrade allocates $16.67, $16.67 and $16.66; the five-file upgrade allocates $10 per file. An extra file is allocated $25. Your order shows the allocation used for a partial refund. Refunds go to the original payment method where possible.

Deep Recon

Deep Recon costs $149 for one selected unit and one written research report. Before payment, we confirm the researcher, source access, exact questions and report delivery date. You can cancel for a full refund before work starts. If we cannot deliver the defined report, we refund the fee. We correct material errors or omissions after delivery.

A seller may not answer and may sell the RV while we work. Neither a file nor recon reserves the unit or promises a purchase outcome.

Inspection and optional work

PDI, repairs, upgrades and transport are separately quoted. The estimate identifies the current owner, payer, authorized access, location, scope, travel, full price and due date. There is no work or extra charge without required authorization. A limited-access inspection states what could not be checked. Cancellation and rescheduling terms come with the individual quote.

Who controls the sale

The seller controls the asking price and sale. Scout does not negotiate, relay offers, take an RV deposit, arrange WeRV showings or handle title and purchase paperwork. You pay the same research fee whether or not you buy an RV.

WeRV charges for research and optional services and may also receive seller listing or service fees. Each file discloses its recorded relationships. Seller payments do not change the fit assessment. Seller statements and documents are not physical inspection findings. A fit rating is a shopping opinion, not an appraisal or condition certification. A VIN alone cannot confirm safe towing.

Free seller listing trial

Trial terms version October 17, 2026. An invited seller can choose seven days of listing access for $0 in My WeRV. Accepting confirms ownership or authority to act for the owner and authorizes only the publication scope shown in the invitation. The seven days start at acceptance; a retry does not extend them. Unaccepted invitations expire after fourteen days.

Complete the listing’s identity, condition, photo rights, disclosures and marketplace terms, then choose Publish. Listings that need a trust review stay private until approved. The owner controls price and offers. There is no card requirement, subscription, automatic charge or paid conversion. Any paid seller plan requires a separate explicit purchase.

Withdraw trial permission at any time in My WeRV. Trial listings and their public photos stop being available at withdrawal or the end of seven days unless an independently purchased active seller listing plan supplies access. Existing paid agreements are unchanged. Private listing, transaction and buyer conversation history is preserved under our privacy policy; withdrawal does not erase lawful delivered reports or transaction records. Questions, corrections and support

Every order has a receipt, scope, immediate-access state or due date, and a help action in My WeRV. Use it to request a correction, replacement or refund. Optional marketing consent is separate from buying research. These service policies do not limit rights provided by applicable consumer law.
