Water, gear and equipment go camping with you. A dry weight alone cannot describe the trip.
Manufacturers can define published unloaded weights differently. Optional equipment and supplies can change the physical trailer’s weight. Do not use dry weight as a tow-fit answer.
Trailer GVWR is its loaded-weight limit, not proof of its current weight or hitch load. A conservative comparison against GVWR may help early planning, but final load and axle checks need actual evidence.
WeRV staff record the physical trailer label and measured loaded/hitch weights with a source and date. Until those records are complete, this tool shows the missing information. Renters do not need to inspect or research WeRV trailer labels to get started.
