Before a trip

Use the RV, chassis and component manuals for the correct checks and service intervals. Note new warning lights, unusual sounds, leaks or changed operation. Avoid loading or towing beyond verified ratings.

When something changes

Capture photos, the model plate, when it started and what you observed. Send the evidence before replacing parts. A diagnostic comes before an unfamiliar repair.

Paint chips and coating: repair first.

Coating cannot replace missing paint, prevent rock chips or stop failing clear coat. Decide on the repair or repaint scope first. The refinisher and product requirements determine readiness; there is no universal waiting period. Once coated, follow the exact product's curing and washing instructions.

Battery and appliance concerns

Record battery chemistry, voltage, charger/converter model and the symptom. For appliances, record the model and serial plate and the behavior you see. Do not bypass protection devices or attempt gas or electrical work without the right qualifications. Propane odor, smoke or an immediate safety concern requires stopping use and obtaining qualified help.
