A little preparation makes each next decision clearer. Start with the documents, condition and costs that affect your own RV.

Collect the facts

Confirm year, make, model, VIN and dimensions. Gather service records, actual photos, known deficiencies and ownership authority. Keep IDs, signatures, title documents and private records out of the public listing.

Make useful photographs

Show exterior corners, floorplan, storage, utilities and condition details in clear light. Photograph known issues rather than hiding them with edits. A lead photo should show the actual RV being offered.

Understand reports

A dated PDI report should state provider, scope, findings, untested items and limitations. “PDI Completed” confirms the named work, not that every component passed or that a government agency certified the RV.

Plan the handoff

Confirm identity, funds, lender payoff, lien release and title requirements with the responsible parties before releasing the RV. An offer in a marketplace does not replace the written transaction or transfer ownership.
